Exceptional staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful with great English skills while bicycles were free to use and umbrellas were provided. Breakfast had a wide variety of western and Asian foods with made-to-order eggs, juices, coffee, tea, and detox water. Rooms were big, clean, modern with fine French colonial design details including comfortable king-sized beds and nice bathrooms with walk-in showers or baths. The pool was great along with sauna and spa facilities. The location was quiet by the river but within walking or cycling distance to the old town despite occasional flooding that never reached the hotel.
