Thanh Nam is shaped by the Thu Bon River. Fishermen have come here since time immemorial to cast their nets and catch prawns, crab and fish at the place we now call "Con Chai" (Fishing Dune). Go to the enchanting Thanh Nam Fishing Village, stay and work with the accommodating local people and learn how to catch fish in this traditional fishing area.

Itinerary:

One-day tour:
Our guide will pick up you at the hotel then driving a JEEP to the village. On the way you enjoy the beautiful countryside views such as seeing water buffalos, rice paddle field, birds, beautiful ... Stop on the way at Thanh Nam fishing village. Here you will receive a brief introduction to the history of the village and a tour of the display room with its traditional fishing tools such as: basket, net, wooden boat, fishing trap …
After that, we will take you in a boat with local fisherman to learn how to cast a net and hopefully catch some fish. After bidding farewell to the local fisherman, continue to Dai Chiem estuary to visit the peaceful waterways with their many boats and wharf. You will have a Lunch at Red Bridge Restaurant and return to Hoi An by Jeep passing the countryside lane through the rice fields the forests of nipa, the lakes of shrimp and crab farm. On the way you have open-air feeling from the natural & beautiful sceneries along the road so that you can explore many unusual things about normal life of Hoian people. Tour finishes about 3 pm.
Half-day tour:
Itinerary is the same as the one-day program. However, there is no lunch and boat trip, just return by bicycle..
